FORMER REGION IV CHAMPIONS HOLDING OPEN TRYOUTS

*FORMER REGION IV CHAMPIONS HOLDING OPEN TRYOUTS*

* FC Bay Area Ambassadors will be holding two trial sessions during the
months of*

* January and February.*

*Oakland, Calif.* – FC Bay Area, preparing for its fourth season in the
National Premier Soccer Leagues NPSL, has announced two  open tryouts set
for January and February. The Ambassadors progressed to the Lamar Hunt U.S.
Open Cup in 2010 and was the 2010 Region IV Division Champion.

During the past five years, the club has achieved remarkable success, both
on and off the field.    The team is looking for new players to add to the
mix while many from the previous season are expected to move up to the
professional ranks within the U.S. and internationally.

The Ambassadors provides a pathway to a greater future for players of every
nationality and ability level.  Several Ambassador players have moved on to
the professional level in the United States, Germany and Mexico after their
attachment with the Ambassadors.

“Playing for the Ambassadors provides a great opportunity for players to
develop, play with and against quality players and top professional teams,
and an opportunity for them to move on through our extensive contacts in
the professional game through the world,” President Arif Khan said.  “The
combination of competition against other top tier teams in the off-season
window ensures that the Ambassadors squad is well prepared for the ensuing
season.”

The first tryouts will be held January 2st.  Players will have the
opportunity to display their skills and possibly earn a place on the
Ambassadors roster for the upcoming NPSL season, starting in May of 2012.
